Everyone like—and many of us LOVE—homemade cookies. Here are some tips to make them extra delicious:
If you want them to be soft and chewy, just reduce the granulated sugar to ½ cup and increase the brown sugar by 1 cup.
For thin and crispy cookies, add more butter (1 ¼ cups or 2 ½ sticks total) and more granulated sugar (about 1 ¼ cups total)
If you want caked cookies, use ¾ cups of butter and reduce the brown sugar to ½ cup.
